Connecting Points Consulting, Inc., is a Missouri-based nonprofit organization that provides organizer training, strategic counseling, and infrastructural support to Midwestern and Southern church congregations and small nonprofits. Founders Leah F. Clyburn and Chelsea K. Merta together bring more than 25 years of experience in grassroots organizing, coalition building, fundraising, and civic education & advocacy. The mission of Connecting Points Consulting is to provide affordable, high-quality grassroots and civic engagement training to entities that may otherwise be unable to access those crucial organizing skills. We recognize the need to share knowledge and to advocate for an educated and empowered electorate.
Our 3 Core Missions:
- To train churches, congregations, and small nonprofits in the fundamentals of grassroots organizing and coalition building;
- To facilitate effective and transformational partnerships between justice-oriented organizations; and
- To center the principles of integrated voter engagement and civic engagement.
